The Defford Arms - Worcester, Worcestershire

The Defford Arms is a warm and welcoming old world country pub, where old values matter, and is located on the main road in the village of Defford being between Upton and Pershore. Princess Diana’s family tree hangs in the bar proving her family originated in Defford before moving to Allthorpe. The pub retains a lot of original features including beams, an open log fire and wood burner. This creates a friendly atmosphere to enjoy a drink with friends or a delicious meal either from the light bites or sandwich and salad board or from the main menu. Meals are freshly cooked and there is a good choice of wines, real ales or non-alcoholic drinks available. The pub holds its Cask Marque award for its real ale. Situated on the premises is a beer garden and a children’s play area, where parents can have a refreshing drink and watch the kids play in the summer months, dogs are also welcome in the flagstone area of the bar. It is advisable to book for a pitch on the caravan park, as the pub is ideally situated for touring the Cotswolds or Stratford upon Avon areas. With disabled access and a car park on the grounds of the pub, this makes it easily accessible for all. For all those special occasions such as weddings, birthdays, etc The Defford can provide catering in the restaurant. So come and try us, you’ll find it hard not to become one of our regulars.
