The Forest Gate Inn - Epping, Essex

Description
The Forest Gate Inn is a 17th century country free house owned and run by the same family for 50 years. We are situated on the edge of Epping Forest and so are very popular with walkers, cyclists and horses. No jukebox here, or fruit machines - just the gentle murmur of idle chat. Being (we believe) an Adnam's pub, there's naturally a couple of ales served by a genial landlord, while you can either enjoy the large grassed front garden, or perhaps peruse the books for sale and settle down in a corner for an evening of uninterrupted relaxation. The lunchtime menu is small but perfectly former and we plumped for an excellent, reasonably priced (and getting-hard-to-find) ploughman's lunch. The bedrooms are all decorated and furnished to a high standard all with en-suite facilities and flat screen televisions, tea and coffee making facilities. Come and join us for a quiet drink today, we look forward to welcoming you.How to find us
